Ziv Shalev
Guitar Player, Composer, arranger and producer. Back in Israel, Ziv had released several singles and albums to the Israeli music industry. In addition, Ziv had performed and toured with numerous artists in the country, and in some countries in Europe. He also performed on Israeli prime time television. Ziv coordinated with many of Israel’s finest musicians; arranging for horns, strings for various orchestral projects.
In 2005 Ziv relocated in New York. He was accepted by City College of New York where he currently majors in music and the proud winner of the Ascap Chappel award for composition. Today, Ziv lives in NYC. He performs in venues throughout the east coast and the rest of the United States with rock, funk, R&B, jazz and world music ensembles.
Ziv had the privilege producing/performing in projects such as:
The Vinyl Stash, Danny Mclaughlin Band, Magal, Derek James, Sidetracks, Modakai, Celeste Ray, 4 Celtic Women, Omar Alexander & Soulare and many more. In addition he is working on his own album--Post-Zest which will be released in the near future. While Ziv is a busy musician, he is very devoted to any project he takes part in.
